Who We Are
SportGivs started with a simple frustration. Our founder, Amir, spent his childhood on a kampung futsal court where half the team shared one good pair of boots and the goals were made of PVC pipe. Talent was never the problem — equipment was.
Years later, after a sports career cut short and a second life in business, he kept meeting the same story across Malaysia: brilliant grassroots programs run by volunteers, held back not by a lack of heart but by a lack of gear. The donations that did come were almost always cash — and cash has a way of disappearing before it becomes a single shin guard.
So we built the opposite. SportGivs lets sponsors pledge the exact equipment a program needs, buy it from verified merchants, and follow it all the way to delivery. No cash handed over, no guesswork — just boots on feet and balls on the court.

Founder
Grew up chasing a futsal ball on a cracked kampung court in Kota Bharu. Played semi-pro until a knee gave out, then built a career in business. SportGivs is how he repays the courts that raised him.

Co-Founder · Operations
Amir's old futsal teammate, later a sports-retail manager. He runs the logistics — making sure pledged gear actually reaches the programs that need it, on time and in full.

Community Lead
A former PE teacher and grassroots coach. He scouts and verifies every program on the platform, and keeps organisers and sponsors talking long after the gear arrives.
Money is easy to lose and hard to trace. A pair of boots, a set of goals, a rack of jerseys — that you can see, count, and use for years. Every pledge on SportGivs is gear.
We back the programs the big sponsors overlook: the kampung academies, the school teams, the community clubs run on weekends and goodwill.
Sponsors see exactly what they funded, who received it, and when it was delivered. Every item has a status, and every program has a face.
